I am elated to express my gratitude to the members of general assembly for their trust on me to elect me as the President of We for Nepal. It will definitely be a great experience to work alongside passionate, experienced, talented and respected friends of my team, here in my country Nepal and at global arena. With your support we can fulfill our mission to promote tourism capitalizing natural beauty, cultural diversity in order to improve the life of farmers preserving traditional knowledge and skills and bringing new technology in agriculture.
'We for Nepal' is a non-profitable, non-political, social organization established for sustainable development through tourism , promoting the beauty of Nepalese culture by a team of social enthusiasts with strong academic and professional achievements. We believe prosperity of Nepal is possible through tourism. Nepal is gifted by never ending natural beauty. The land of the highest peak in the world, Mt. Everest with wide range of cultural heritages has countless possibilities for the promotion of tourism. Among them we have chosen culture and agriculture. They may sound strange to come together, but, in fact we have seen very close and strong interrelationship as they are the main pillars of Nepalese economy.
Nepal is multicultural, multiethnic and multilingual country. From around the globe, Buddhist converges in Nepal to pay the final homage to the lord Buddha in Lumbini. However, Hindus are in greater number, Christian, Muslim and others are flourishing in this land from the dawn of human civilization. So, Nepal’s culture is undoubtedly an exemplary one. And hence, to materialize the dream plan of sustainable development, harmonious society we have decided to walk together for the betterment of Nepalese society and to promote peace and prosperity around the globe with conveyance of this message of humanity in the planet with the helping hand of people in and around this beautiful planet.
2015 April, there was a devastating earthquake, which killed more than 9000 people, causing irreparable economic loss. We fought together and slowly rising and raising people live creating a better means of livelihood, keeping the essence of Nepalese culture high to live for the cause of others. We believe on working together for achieving the sustainable Tourism, with promotion of Culture and Agriculture to bring positive change for the prosperity of Nepal.
